Membership

From this season (23/24) we are stepping away from the "Pay as you Play" model we introduced during Covid. This means we will be returing to monthly payments or a one-off annual payment. This is intended to make it easier for you as a member, and for us as volunteers tracking payments.

The monthly payments option works similiar to a Direct Debit, but cease after the final payment is made. These are interest free, so you won't pay any more than someone who has chosen an "All In" single payment option.

The "Player" options cover all training sessions and league matches from 1st September to 6th April (the current date of the last match), England Hockey affiliation, insurance, match teas, pitch hire, and other associated running costs. If the league runs over due to poor weather, for example, matches outside of these dates will still be included.

The Junior payments cover all training sessions from 01st September to 30th June - 34 in total.

Our "Training Only" membership covers all Adult and Colt training sessions from 01st September to 06th April. This comes with the option of matches to be paid at £10 per match (£5 for Colts) if the need or want arises.

The "Associate" option is for those persons who wish to support the Club and use the facilities at the Clubhouse, but do not play hockey.

Any sessions The Club chooses to run outside of the season will be charged per session at a price yet to be decided, which must be paid before 5pm on the day.

Membership payments must be made by 22nd October 2023.

If you've chosen the six monthly instalments, your first payment needs to have cleared by this date.

We will be operating as NO PAY NO PLAY after this date.

There's some jargon based around these prices, so here's what we mean.

• Adult - a player aged 18+, in employment
• Colt - a player who trains with adults, but is aged 13-18 OR in full-time education OR unemployed
• Junior - a player aged 4-16 who trains only on Wednesdays from 6-7pm
• GK - a player who plays as a full-time goalkeeper for the Club
• Lifetime - a person who has supported the Club and has been awarded "Lifetime Member" status by the Committee
